Connie and I enjoyed an afternoon tea excursion to The Hummingbird Tea Room and Bakery in The Woodlands after we attended to the "Bloomin' Crazy For Quilts" Show in Conroe presented by The Woodlands Quilt Guild.
The Tea Room was beautifully decorated with lots of tea cups, saucers, pitchers and flowers. The food was absolutely delicious and the customer service was excellent!
Connie had a complete tea serving with miniature sandwiches, turkey and cucumber, quiche, macaroon, kiwi and strawberry Pavlova and three kinds of hot tea (House blend, Ginger Peach and Pomegranate).
I had a scrumptious turkey and cranberry panini and a salad with a hot bowl of pumpkin cream soup. My tea was Orange Jasmine. The both of us enjoyed a warm cranberry scone with jam and cream.
What a perfect way to spend the day by enjoying something that I love, quilting and something that Connie loves, tea. We were able to enjoy and delight in both worlds that are near and dear to each of us.
