The Woodlands Area Quilt Guild presents "Bloomin' Crazy For Quilts" Show on today, Friday, June 21 and tomorrow, June 22 at The Lone Star Convention Center & Expo in Conroe, Texas.
It was great to see and visit with Tea Time Quilts ( Heights area quilt shop) who served as one of the vendors. They had a large booth with lots of fabric and notions. The entire show was filled with traditional quilts from local quilters from the Woodlands Area Quilt Guild and Greater Houston area.
This time, my sister Connie attended the show from a different perspective as she has become a full fledged quilter. She was on the hunt for Layer Cakes, Charm Packs and Fat Quarters.
She purchased this fabric for her next two quilt projects.
Check out some of my goodies. I purchased a Fabric Painting Kit and clear Fussy Cut Stamps for a Double Wedding Ring Quilt and stamps and ink for Log Cabin, Hexagon and Nine Patch Blocks. These projects will be done by hand or on my Featherweight Hand Crank Sewing Machine. The five ring pin cushions will come in handy for hand sewing.
