What a grand way to celebrate Christmas and our anniversary! New York was cold and sunny, filled with Christmas lights, decorations and cheer. Despite the enormous amount of people celebrating the season, we enjoyed every minute of our Christmas excursion.
From staying at the beautiful Riu Hotel in Manhattan, to having coffee and pastries and buying books in The Drama Book Shop (oh, and I saw Lin Manual from the Broadway production, "Hamilton" in the Book Shop), to viewing the exquisite Manet and Degas special exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The MET), to the learning about the history of Broadway at The Museum of Broadway, to visiting Rockefeller Center to see the beautiful Christmas tree, to eating at the infamous Juniors (the lemon Pound Cake was the best! ), to visiting Bergdorf Goodmann's seven story Department store, to buying a cross body purse at beautiful Louis Vuitton store, to enjoying "MJ, The Musical" on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre, and taking in all of the beautiful Christmas lights and displays in Times Square and the Manhattan area, our trip will chock full of wonderment and joy!
Visiting New York during the Christmas season is something that needs to be part of everyone's bucket list!
