On yesterday, I took a class in LaPorte, Texas. A quilted sneaker class!
There was a lot of prep work in preparation for the class which included choosing a fabric, quilting it and making the binding for the shoe.
Of course, I had to add something extra by adding miniature quilting blocks. I also had to be sassy and add machine Sashiko stitches.
The class was seven hours so I only completed one sneaker. Once my sore fingers have healed from sewing the sole of the shoe to the fabric, I will complete constructing the left shoe.
Even though, I loved making the sneakers, one pair is enough for me.
