Simply Priceless!

In my spare time, outside of my normal job duties and responsibilities, I have enjoyed teaching the art of quilting to staff of the Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD) over the past 18 years.

As a result of my passion for teaching quilting, everyone has continued to spread the joy of quilting to thousands of youth, teens, adults and seniors in Community Centers.

Thanks a million to the HPARD Quilters for the lovely retirement quilt that was inspired by the Gee's Bend technique and for the beautiful Shutterfly Photo Book that was created to commemorate each block that was designed by each Quilter. Their craftsmanship and words of inspiration are simply priceless.

I look forward to continuing my quilting journey with HPARD Quilters throughout my retirement.
